Ever since I was a little girl and took a briefcase to school instead of a backpack, I knew I wanted to be a business lady.🤣
Even though my purse probably only had Lip Smackers and Hubba Bubba inside, I was prepared and ready for the board room, more than recess.
And when shopping for school supplies was more exciting than shopping for school clothes, I knew where my future was headed!

Selling my babysitter services to the neighbors was my first sign that creative messaging and running a business was one of my gifts.

When I walked into my first Introduction to Advertising class at The University of Texas, I knew I had found my calling. I was accepted into the Texas Creative Sequence and was on my way!

The combination of creative expression and commerce was a perfect fit and after an award-winning career at renowned Austin advertising agency, GSD&M, working for brands like Southwest Airlines, AT&T, United Healthcare and Chili’s, my entrepreneurial bug turned into a complete infestation and my soul yearned to forge my own path just like I had always done since I was little.

As a freelancer, I created ad campaigns for some of Austin’s biggest small businesses: The Running Store, The Pizza Chain, The Hair Salon, The first women’s fitness apparel boutique… working alongside some amazing Founders…I even started my own biz: an outdoor excursions company for elementary school kids called: Austin Outdoor Kids (AOK!)
I became a mom.
and then
Now living in Santa Monica, CA and trying to figure out who I was in a new city as a new mom, a newlywed, with this new identity, was nothing short of challenging. I found myself again working with Founders, and starting businesses like “Tiny Sweat” preschool PE, and juggling all the thirty-something life lessons I was being taught at that stage of being human.

Being a mom was definitely my leading role, and I struggled at times to find the balance. So when I moved back to Austin and got the idea to start an ad-agency for family-focused brands, I called it Offspring, and my worlds finally felt harmonized!
I created some of my best work of my career with Offspring, literally and figuratively. From my own brand, M.I.L.K. (Moms I’d Like to Know), to SmartyPants Vitamins, to Deep Eddy Vodka, getting the opportunity to work with brands who championed creative expression was a dream.

My passion for growing brands outgrew even my own, so when I was offered the opportunity to go in-house with one of Austin’s leading short-term rental companies, I couldn’t pass it up!
I became a caregiver.
and then
A few years into my exciting role at Lodgewell, both of my parents were diagnosed with kidney cancer, while my mom was also battling dementia. As an only-child turned primary caregiver, this took a toll on me...both personally and professionally. Blessed to be working with a caring Founder who understood the chapter I was moving into, I stepped back from my full-time role, to start a new one.

After I got my parents new health and new home situations settled, my passion for helping brands blossom was still there and I continued to offer my Creative Director services to businesses and organizations who wanted to stand out!
