CELEBRATION OF MOTHERHOOD
spotlighting moms you’d like to know
M.I.L.K. (Moms I'd Like to Know) wasn't just a clever name; it was a vibrant online community and a movement celebrating the extraordinary journey of motherhood. Co-founded with my bestie, Claire Jordan, M.I.L.K. empowered and inspired moms across America. We curated captivating online content featuring interviews with fascinating moms on MeetTheMilk.com, offering relatable role models and a source of inspiration. A strong social media presence fostered connections, allowing moms to share experiences and find support from their peers. M.I.L.K. also transcended the digital with community events like the "Mom's Rock" music showcase, the heartwarming "Hanky Handout," and the community-building MILK MOB supporting mom-owned businesses. We even hosted a blogger's lounge at the Texas Conference for Women and emceed several conferences as well. M.I.L.K. championed the power of moms and the strength of community, both online and off.
MOMS ROCK!
music showcase
M.I.L.K.'s passion for empowering moms extended beyond the digital realm. At SXSW, we conceptualized and executed the groundbreaking "Mom's Rock" music showcase. This first-of-its-kind event, brimming with "good times," featured all-mom musicians. Mom's Rock wasn't just about music; it was a celebration of motherhood. The event offered a fun and engaging environment for the entire family. Attendees enjoyed live performances by talented mom musicians, participated in family-friendly activities, and connected with family-focused brands and sponsors. Mom's Rock was a resounding success, showcasing the power of music and community while celebrating the incredible talent of moms everywhere.

HANKY
Handout
M.I.L.K. understood the emotional rollercoaster of parenthood. To offer support to moms on a momentous occasion, we hosted a special "Hanky Handout" event at a local elementary school. On the first day of kindergarten drop-off, we greeted moms with a heartfelt gesture – a little pack of tissues, a symbol of solidarity and a reminder that they weren't alone in their emotions. This simple act of kindness created a heartwarming moment of connection between moms, reminding them that the journey of parenthood is filled with shared experiences, big and small.
